TELLING A STORY

Quand on raconte une histoire ou une anecdote, c'est important d'ajouter des détails pour que les personnes qui vous écoutent s'imaginent au mieux la situation.

Pour vous aider, gardez en tête:

WHO? WHERE? WHEN? WHAT?

Ex: Yesterday, I saw Mr Johnson in his garden. He was digging an enormous hole.

- Si vous êtes capable de répondre à ces 4 questions, vous avez déjà la base de votre histoire.

- Pour être encore plus précis, pensez à HOW (much, many, tall, long, far...) et WHY.

Ex: He stayed there for 2 hours. There was nobody else in the street and I didn't see his wife in the whole afternoon.

I'm really wondering why he was digging such a big hole, under the snow...
