SUPER BOWL OR VALENTINE?

American football is America’s national sport.
Each year, more than 111 million people watch the final game of the season, the Super Bowl,
that’s a television record in the USA.
THE ORIGINS OF THE GAME

The Super Bowl was invented in 1966. The new league wanted a cool name for its final game and began calling it “Super”.
The word “Bowl” was used because football stadiums are shaped like* (*en forme de) a bowl* (*bol). So it became the “Super Bowl”.
The first Super Bowl was held* (*a eu lieu) on January 15th, 1967.
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
The Green Bay Packers defeated* (*vaincre) Kansas City (35 - 10).
It was played at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
THE SUPER BOWL TODAY

Have a nice day, take care. -

Hello teacher,
God save the Queen !-

Have a nice day!
