ST PATRICK'S DAY

Every 17th of March, Irish people celebrate St Patrick's Day around the world.

St Patrick is the Patron Saint of Ireland.

The legend says he protects Ireland.

So, to thank him people dress up in green and go to the pub with their friends or family.

In some cities, like Chicago, they colour the rivers in green for the day. It is impressive!

Another legend tells the story about the leprechauns that live in a small village at the end of the rainbow.

If you believe in it, you can become very rich!
