REMEMBRANCE DAY
Do you know POPPY DAY?
Look at the picture above! These flowers are called POPPIES* (* coquelicots).
They are used in England and in every Commonwealth State to celebrate Remembrance Day or Armistice Day on the 11th of November every year.
People wear a poppy on their clothes to show that they remember that soldiers fought and died in WW1* (*World War One) to protect their country.
And you? Do you celebrate Poppy Day? Do you have another tradition in your country?

MOVEMBER
Do you know Movember? What is it?
Movember is an International Charity* (*association caritative) that raises money* (*récolter de l'argent) for a serious issue* (* problème) but in a fun way.
They fight for Men's Health* (*la santé des hommes), against cancers and other illnesses* (* maladies) that affect men only.
How does it work?
Every November, men grow* (*laisser pousser) their moustache to help the association raise money.
Men stop shaving* (* se raser) for 30 days and people remember to give money to the charity.
