Everybody knows James BOND, but did you know that Sean CONNERY was the first actor to play James BOND ?

He starred in seven James BOND films !

Sean CONNERY was a Scottish actor and producer.

His full name is Sir Sean Thomas CONNERY.

He was born in Edinburgh on August 25th 1930 and died on October 31st 2020.

Not only did he play James BOND, which made him internationally famous,

but he also played with very famous directors* (*metteur en scène) like Alfred HITCHCOCK "Murder on the Orient Express"

He won many Awards* (*récompenses) for his films including three Golden Globes.

In 1987, he was made a Commander of Order of Arts and Letters in France

and he received the U.S Kennedy Center Honors lifetime achievement award in 1999.

But the most memorable moment was when he was knighted* (* être anobli, fait chevalier) in 2000 by Queen Elizabeth II :
